Bio
| About | I am a Chemical Engineer with a Master’s degree in Applied Engineering and currently pursuing doctoral studies, with a strong interest in environmental protection, sustainable technologies, and the development of innovative solutions for pollution mitigation. During my Master’s studies, I specialized in Process Engineering, Thermofluids, and Energy, conducting research focused on the purification of contaminated automotive oil through the design and development of a filtration system aimed at improving its quality and promoting the recovery and reuse of used lubricants. Currently, my doctoral research focuses on catalysis, exploring the development and application of catalytic materials for environmental remediation and the degradation of pollutants. My academic and research interests include materials science, catalytic processes, environmental engineering, and sustainable technologies, with the ultimate goal of contributing to innovative solutions that address environmental challenges and promote a more sustainable future.

| Teaching philosophy and method | My teaching philosophy is based on promoting meaningful, participatory learning focused on applying scientific and technological knowledge to solve real-world problems. I believe that engineering education should go beyond the transmission of theoretical knowledge and encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. My teaching methodology integrates theoretical lectures, problem-solving activities, practical exercises, and laboratory experiments, aiming to connect scientific principles with their applications in engineering. I also promote active learning, collaborative work, and student participation, encouraging students to conduct research, ask questions, and develop their own conclusions. As an educator, I consider it essential to create a respectful, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment where students can develop autonomy, responsibility, and commitment to their professional development. I also seek to incorporate topics related to sustainability, technological innovation, and environmental protection, contributing to the education of engineers capable of addressing today’s scientific, technological, and environmental challenges.
