SBC trainer certification in Social Business Implementation (SBI) at the expert level

SBI trainers are teachers and professionals who enable other individuals and organizations to effectively execute their social business model and take it to the next level of growth. The SBI trainers certified by the Social Business Creation (SBC) program have completed SBC rigorous training to gain critical knowledge in business execution, management of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and growth strategies, as well as necessary skills in using gamification and experiential methods to coach their students. They have demonstrated success in facilitating trainees’ learning and skill development such that their trainees can launch their businesses, develop agile strategies in finance, marketing, operations, etc., and overcome obstacles that often arise in the business scaling process.

Conditions to become a SBI-certified trainer at the expert level

Pass the SBC online course on Social Business Implementation (SBI) Pass the SBI evaluator qualifying test Evaluate three teams of the SBC business competition in the Execution and Scaleup round Coach at least one living lab to be in the regional top 30% of the Execution and Scaleup round

Conditions for certification renewal 

• Remain active with the SBC business competition in the Execution and Scaleup round at least once in three consecutive years and
• Score the expert-level performance in the Execution and Scaleup round at least once in these three years

Conditions for certification downgrade

Downgrade to the associate level

• Remain active with the SBC business competition in the Execution and Scaleup round at least once in three consecutive years
• Score at the associate-level performance in the Execution and Scaleup round at least once in these three years

Downgrade to the foundational level

• Remain active with the SBC business competition in the Execution and Scaleup round at least once in three consecutive years
• Score at the foundational-level performance in the Execution and Scaleup round at least once in these three years

Conditions for certification expiration 

After three years of being inactive, the certification expires. The trainer must pass through the SBC training-of-trainers program anew to get certified again
