KHANG A TUA
(Tuam Khaab in Hmong language)
A student, an eldest brother of 5 younger brothers, a father of 1 child, a Hmong husband.
I am trained as a professional cultural researcher and have experience in Hmong culture and society. My research focuses on explaining the different attitudes of Hmong women when faced with domestic violence and divorce. I have experience in building sustainable socio-economic development models for Hmong women based on their traditional cultural products.
I was honored as one of 5 people who inspire Vietnamese society in 2019, voted by Wechoice Awards.
Joining SBC, I look forward to cultivating more skills, experience and knowledge to continue the mission of creating more foundations to help balance society, especially sustainable economic development for Hmong women in Vietnam.
