About |
I consider myself to be a person of constant transformation, thriving in new environments and challenges. I am currently pursuing a major in Economics at the University of Chile, which I believe has further enhanced this trait. Economics has equipped me with valuable analytical skills and a macro perspective essential for problem-solving and decision-making. I look forward to applying these skills to projects and initiatives such as the SBC community that are focused on making a positive impact.
Furthermore, I had the privilege of recently completing an exchange semester at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. This experience was crucial in developing skills such as adaptability and the ability to relate and collaborate with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. This semester was profoundly eye-opening and enriching, significantly contributing to my personal growth and understanding.
In addition to academics, I have had the opportunity to volunteer at various organizations with meaningful purposes. Among these experiences, I highlight my time spent in Madrid with Acción Social por la Música, where I supported children from challenging backgrounds through music initiatives and administrative tasks. Additionally, I volunteered with Developing Radio Partners as part of the World Bank Project, where I assisted in managing the transmission of podcasts in Latin America to address environmental challenges for indigenous and rural communities. Furthermore, I have contributed to sustainability and education-related volunteer efforts within my country.
I have been fortunate to have had opportunities to develop both technical and interpersonal skills. The ability to seize these opportunities and use them for personal development is a choice each of us makes. However, it is important to be aware of what life presents us, and I firmly believe that we all have a responsibility to help others and leave something for future generations. There is always a way to positively impact someone’s life by doing even the bare minimum, and that is my primary motivation for being part of the SBC community.
