Bio

About

My purpose in life is to help people have a successful career and a fulfilling life, through teaching, consulting and coaching.

The values that guide my actions are: humility, service, wisdom, courage, leadership and compassion

My doctoral thesis work was a participatory action-research, which resulted in the creation and development of eight social enterprises, in a community called Xico, in Mexico.

Later, I did a research stay for a year at the Ecodiálogo Center at the Universidad Veracruzana. As a result, we co-create a community-based personal learning path, we define concepts, values and actions necessary for the creation of business for Buen Vivir (Good Living) and a collective social. entrepreneurship was formed called Integrative Health Community.

I am very excited to be part of the SBC community, and learn new and better methodologies to help create social businesses.

Motivation for social impact creation

The globalized capitalist economic system has caused severe social and environmental damage. Given the seriousness of the situation and as an expression of social creativity, alternatives to capitalism focused on caring for people and the planet have been developed. We seek collectively, with members of the Integrative Health Unit, to answer the question: how to train ourselves as entrepreneurs for an economy of Good Living?

Contributions to the SBC community

I want to offer the philosophy of Buen Vivir, as an alternative to consumerism and global capitalism, and a dialogic-contemplative-collaborative pedagogy.
