My name is Juan Aldo Chavez Gomez, I am a civil engineer graduated from the Universidad Veracruzana and current student of the postgraduate Master in Applied Engineering specializing in Geotechnics, in the workplace I have collaborated in the development of geotechnical studies and soil mechanics of various civil works, such as houses, apartment buildings, shopping malls, residential, treatment plants, among others. My motivation to continue preparing myself is to be able to help in projects that help the social field not only in the research part but in the application to obtain a direct benefit in the area where I currently reside and later within the region and my state. As main achievements: I am a qualified civil engineer, with participation in the development of soil mechanics studies in different works, support as a co-advisor in thesis of students at the undergraduate level, I developed and gave a paper of a scientific article for the Sociedad Mexicana de Ingenieria y Geotécnica (SMIG) and I am part of the student chapter of the SMIG at the Universidad Veracruzana. The motivation of being part of the SBC community is to put into practice the knowledge I have so far in a project that has a direct support in society, that has benefits in more than one sector and helps the environment.
