Proposal

Hanoi city has 1,350 craft villages and vocational villages, including 305 traditional craft villages in 23 districts and towns. This is a valuable resource for cultural industry development.

On January 2, 2013, Hanoi approved the planning for developing occupations and craft villages until 2030. The goals include preserving traditional values, developing new craft villages and connecting production with tourism and culture.

This plan sets many goals, including increasing the number of craft villages to 1,500 by 2030, creating jobs for about 1 million rural workers.

However, there are still many challenges such as small scale, lack of resources and poor infrastructure. To promote the development of craft villages, it is necessary to focus resources on improving production quality, expanding production scale, improving worker skills, and enhancing brand promotion. Developing environmentally friendly products and promoting creativity from artisans and skilled workers. These measures not only help solve current problems but also aim to create products with commercial and artistic value, while promoting the sustainable development of traditional craft villages.
