Social Challenge:

  • The problem: Traditional craft villages are gradually being lost, and some others are even at risk of disappearing from social life. The main reason is that the craft villages are mainly small and fragmented operations which lack cohesion, making it difficult to access capital as well as lacking resources and methodical training on brand management and professional design..
  • Problem’s Placement: Rural areas of Vietnam
  • People affected by the problem: Adults between the ages of 18 – 40 includes youth, farmer, artisan, bussiness,…
  • Severity of the problem: Traditional craft villages play an important role in the economic development of the rural areas. Facts have shown that craft villages have not only created many job opportunities, not only for people of working age but also for the elderly, people with disabilities, and children but also helped to narrow the gap between rich and poor in rural areas.
  • Urgency/ The problem calls for action: Challenges arise discourages young people from continuing on their family history.
