Proposal

The problem of stress has multiple dimensions that should be explored. The impact on people’s physical and mental health is significant, with negative effects including sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, cardiovascular diseases and gastrointestinal problems, among others. This impact results in a decrease in quality of life and an increase in healthcare costs. In summary, stress represents a global challenge that requires urgent attention and coordinated actions at the individual, community and political levels. Understanding the underlying causes, identifying effective prevention strategies, and promoting access to supportive resources are critical steps in addressing this problem and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
On the other hand, pain management is a fundamental aspect of medical care and people’s quality of life. Despite advances in conventional medicine to treat pain, there is a need to explore and develop effective and safe alternatives that can complement or even replace traditional approaches. This problem statement focuses on the search for alternatives to pain management that are accessible, effective and with a lower risk of adverse side effects.

Seeing the significant issues mentioned before, Healthmet offers a powerful solution. Over the years, the use of sound therapy, wave therapy, and aroma therapy has been well-established as effective, non-invasive methods for regeneration, pain management, relaxation, and assisting in nervous crises, including epileptic seizures. Our innovative answer to these challenges is our “Healthmet” helmet. This electro-medical device is worn on the head whenever the user feels the need for relaxation or during crisis situations such as anxiety, stress, depression, epilepsy, stress-induced tachycardia, and more.

Healthmet works through sound therapy, wave therapy, and aroma therapy, all supported and validated by a multidisciplinary health team. Once the user selects the emergency or need to use the medical device, our connected app offers various options tailored to the population’s needs.
