Social challenge

– The Problem: Children with autism have many problems with communication and social interaction. However, the toy market for autistic children in Vietnam has not received much attention and investment. In addition, the waste of excess wood resources is also an alarming situation in Vietnam.

– Problem’s placement: Hanoi city, Vietnam

– People affected by the problem:

  • Target audience: Autistic children (3-6 years old)
  • Others: normal children (3-6 years old)

– Severity of the problem: Due to the lack of funding for inclusive educational toys in Vietnam, children with autism have trouble communicating. Furthermore, the depletion of wood resources leads to an imbalance in the forest ecology, making it vulnerable to frequent natural disasters.

– The problem calls for action: TO2GETHER is an inclusive educational toy set made from recycled wood, contributing to helping autistic children increase their communication skills and develop their imagination through wooden puppet sets.

Social idea: We build inclusive educational toys made from recycled wood for autistic children (3-6 years old). The product includes 2 wooden puppets with the professions of doctor and teacher, along with related professional tools. In addition, we also provide guidebooks to help parents or teachers play with children and workbooks to help children review and be creative, developing sensory perceptions.
