SOCIAL CHALLENGE:

Problem:
Many young adults in Vietnam encounter challenges in effectively communicating in English, primarily due to tedious and irrelevant traditional English learning methods. Additionally, previous negative experiences with English education further impede their present efforts.

Problem’s Placement:
This issue is prevalent across all regions of Vietnam, particularly in areas where English communication is not widely integrated into daily life.

People Affected by the Problem:
The demographic most affected comprises young adults aged 18 to 24 in Vietnam, for whom proficiency in English communication is crucial for securing competitive job and educational opportunities.

Severity of the Problem:
Past unfavorable encounters with English learning, specifically in communication skills, have left adult learners disheartened, undermining their personal development and communication competencies while diminishing their confidence in English communication.

Urgency:
The deficiency in English communication skills significantly impedes young adults’ prospects for international study and employment opportunities, thereby limiting their global engagement. Furthermore, it exacerbates pressure in both personal and professional spheres, emphasizing the necessity for prompt intervention.
