Research interests |
My research interests lie at the intersection of sustainable fashion and environmental conservation. Specifically, I am passionate about exploring innovative solutions to mitigate the environmental and social impacts of garment waste in the fashion industry. I am interested in investigating methods to upcycle textile waste into value-added products, such as eco-friendly insulation materials, to reduce resource consumption, pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, I am keen on exploring the societal implications of fast fashion and advocating for sustainable consumption and production practices. Overall, my research endeavors aim to contribute to the transition towards a more circular and sustainable fashion economy.

Current research projects |
Currently, my research focuses on developing sustainable solutions for the textile and fashion industry. One of my primary projects involves investigating novel methods to upcycle garment waste into eco-friendly insulation materials. By repurposing discarded textiles, we aim to address the environmental challenges associated with textile waste while providing cost-effective and energy-efficient alternatives for insulation in residential and commercial buildings.
Additionally, I am exploring the environmental and social impacts of fast fashion consumption patterns. This research involves analyzing the lifecycle of clothing, from production to disposal, to identify opportunities for reducing resource consumption, pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore, I am investigating consumer behavior and attitudes towards sustainable fashion, aiming to understand the barriers and drivers of adopting more responsible consumption habits.
Overall, my current research projects aim to contribute to the development of sustainable practices within the fashion industry, with a focus on reducing waste, promoting circularity, and fostering positive social change.
