Greetings, my name is Mai Tan Thien, an English teacher in Vietnam. I am a fresh graduate from Can Tho University. Yet, I have got 2 years of experience in teaching the IELTS tests. I participate in this competition, hoping to learn more about entrepreneurship, innovation, and business. Our core values are to use IELTS as a basis to teach English online in Vietnam, aiming to bridge the gap between rural areas’ lack of facilities and students’ weak English proficiency and the world’s education. We also aim to demonstrate SDG 17 in the most demonstrative ways, by connecting the theory with reality to help increase students’ knowledge of SDG 17 and how they can use it as a basis to bring a change to their hometown. My proudest achievements include becoming an ambassador of a Harvard Conference and winning the first prize in the Impact Challenge contest organized by Harvard University. I participate in SBC Community with an aim to find those who share the same views as me and my team, make friends with impactful changemakers, and study business knowledge from extraordinary entrepreneurs and innovators.
