Dr. Ngo Thi Lua received her Ph.D. degree specialized in Artificial Intelligence from Brain and Cognitive Engineering Department, Korea University. She is head of Brain AI Lab, where they work toward Artificial Intelligence solutions in biomedical problems such as mental problem diagnosis using brain signals, medical image/signal processing for computer-aided systems. Some of her research directions are applying artificial intelligence in detecting Alzheimer’s disease, brain tumor, breast cancer, and retinal disease using proper imaging modalities, detecting heart disease and mental diseases using ECG and EEG signals, and developing game software for children with attention or learning problems. Her aim is to give a hand in solving real-world problems in Vietnam medical system.
