Mabel has over 15 years of professional experience in several countries (Canada, Colombia, Germany, EEUU, Bolivia & Egypt), working in designing and implementing projects and innovative interventions, advising and managing public and private organizations at the local, national, and international level. She holds a master’s degree in International Economics and Sustainable Development from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin and DESS in Management of Cultural Organisations from HEC Montreal. She is a Co-Founder of @Nuestro Flow, a social enterprise and a platform aimed at promoting equality and diversity. In addition, Mabel is a Senior Advisor, International Relations at the Development Bank of Canada, BDC, where she acts as Head of Operations and Sustainability of The Montreal Group, a global forum for development banks focused on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and I lead the agenda on sustainable finance. Besides business, Mabel has a strong background in performing arts with several years of experience in television, theatre, cinema, and radio as an actress, director, and writer. She is the director and writer of “Mujeres con Todas las Letras,” a popular children’s book recently published to give visibility to inspiring women from Central and South America.
