Dr. Gustavo Severo Borba is a Professor at Unisinos Design School with 25 years of higher education experience. For the last ten years, he has been focusing his research on two different areas. The first one is on how the design of a classroom could improve curriculum and classroom management while better engaging students. The second one is on how the process of social innovation in local communities could be enhanced through a strategic design approach. Dr. Gustavo Severo Borba holds a Ph.D. in Engineering, and a master’s in Strategic Design. He remains involved on the international scene, notably, he was a visiting scholar at Boston College and at the University of Ottawa.
