As life develops, people’s demand for food is also increasing. Food products are increasingly diverse and abundant, but along with them are confectionery products, fruit jams… containing many unhygienic ingredients, potentially harmful to human health. At the same time, the environment is also facing a significant increase in waste.Businesses that produce products from fruits and agricultural products often only use the pulp, while the peel is often thrown away, leading to an increase in agricultural waste. However, the demand for Pectin, a substance from fruit peels, from food manufacturing businesses is increasing. With the goal of providing a guaranteed and safe source of food ingredients for consumers, as well as minimizing the amount of agricultural waste discharged into the environment, FlAVIX has proposed an advanced solution: Separating Pectin from dragon fruit peel.
