According to a survey conducted by Electrolux in 2017, Vietnam ranks second in the food waste index in Asia. It is estimated that the total amount of food lost from the Vietnamese supply chain is equivalent to 60% of the amount of solid waste. All of these factors are significantly hindering the process of reducing global carbon emissions, negatively affecting efforts to combat climate change and sustainable development.
Using the digital kitchen model, the Food Town project reduces the cost of dealing with food at the end of the day for restaurants and provides low-cost, healthy meals to underprivileged people.
Subsidized more than 500 meals for patients and their family members, helping them to save 2/3 expenses for food.
