Proposal
Have you ever wondered what happens with your vehicle tire when it´s no longer useful? Only in Mexico, about 32 million are wasted, with just 10% of them being recycled.
Did you know that sand is the second most used resource on Earth? and that is depletion is having terrible effects on animals and plants all over the world?
Well, now there might be a possible solution for these two issues. This solution comes in the form of a dry mix concrete that is made with recycled tire rubber.
With this new type of concrete, millions of sand savings could be made by using tire rubber that would otherwise end up in a landfill, creating diseases, fires and other environmental issues as a result.
Through this concrete, construction can be more sustainable and responsible with our increasingly delicate planet.
Our solution strongly contributes to three of the sustainable goals developed by the UN:
- Industry, Innovation and Infraestructure
- Sustainable Cities and Communities
- Responsible Consumption and Production
