Aquaponics BKyO system
Problem:

In response to the ever-increasing demand for food, farmers have resorted to using chemicals like pesticides and growth stimulants to boost yields. However, excessive use of these chemicals has led to water pollution and high levels of residues, contributing to the rising cancer rates we see today. Moreover, farmers are often unaware of the severe consequences of these chemicals, and even those with academic knowledge have struggled to find optimal solutions to address these issues.

Aquaponics presents a viable solution, but it has significant drawbacks: poor aesthetics, complex operation, and suitability only for large-scale setups.

Our Solution:

Recognizing these limitations, we’ve developed Aquaponics BKyO systems, meticulously crafted to align with customer needs and our manufacturing capabilities. Our product integrates the best practices from three domains: ornamental fish, houseplants, and traditional aquaponics. We’ve addressed the shortcomings and transformed them into advantages based on the principles of the Circular Economy, where waste from one sector becomes input for another.

In essence, we’ve transformed the traditional large-scale aquaponics model into compact, home-friendly systems. This was achieved by designing and incorporating high-tech devices that optimize performance for household applications, all at a relatively affordable price point.

Aquaponics BKyO embodies three key principles: aesthetics, eco-friendliness, and automation.

Product Benefits:

Sleek and stylish design creates a relaxing green space at home, encouraging kids to reduce screen time and connect with nature.

IOT-enabled automation eliminates worries about extended trips or time constraints, ensuring automated feeding and remote monitoring.

Promotes sustainable living by bringing Aquaponics and its eco-friendly practices closer to people.

Reduces household plastic waste associated with food production while promoting knowledge of clean, safe food, contributing to the reduction of chemically laden food consumption.

Contribution to UN Sustainable Development Goals:

Goal 2: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.

Aquaponics BKyO is an efficient agricultural system that boosts crop and fish yields while minimizing land, fertilizer, and water requirements. Our system doesn’t rely on rivers, where fish populations are vulnerable to pollution and water contamination (Hải Dương – Việt Nam – 04/2024), nor does it depend excessively on freshwater during dry seasons for irrigation (Bến Tre, Tiền Giang, … – Việt Nam – 04/2024). Aquaponics BKyO systems, when implemented on a large scale, can effectively ensure food security and sustainable agriculture.

Goal 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.

Aquaponics BKyO employs a recirculating filtration system that efficiently filters and reuses water, minimizing freshwater consumption, particularly in areas facing water scarcity like the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.

Goal 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.

Aquaponics BKyO converts fish waste and plant substandard product (Vegetable and fruit stems are not of good quality,…)into beneficial nutrient ions for plants, saving customers money on water changes and fertilizers while reducing the discharge of wastewater and waste products into water and soil environments, thereby minimizing negative impacts on human health.
