BUSINESS MODEL INNOVATION

A. SOCIAL BUSINESS DESIGN

A1. Social mantra one-liner

TnG stands for Transforming the Next Generations to build sustainable development for local communities with the mission:

Empower the next generations to solve local community problems sustainably through applying a national experiential learning program combined with leveraging digital transformation.

Vision: An online community that serves as a second home for social entrepreneurs looking to expand their social impact, as well as for teenagers who are passionate about addressing social issues in their local communities and seeking opportunities for personal development.

A2. Service presentation

Create an online community that serves as a second home for social entrepreneurs looking to expand their social impact, as well as design experiential learning programs based on context-based learning and cross-cultural environment to train and mentor teenagers who are passionate about addressing social issues in their local communities and seeking opportunities for personal development.

  • Training & Social Problems Discussion Community: Unlike traditional workshops, webinars, or seminars, the Social Problems Discussion Hub holds weekly sessions in the online community TnG_SOS (Online Discussions on Social Issues) using a professional discussion format. These sessions take place on online meeting platforms such as Discord and encourage attendees’ interaction through exchanges, critiques, and group work aimed at finding practical solutions to real social problems in each locality. The goal is to develop critical thinking and actionable solutions.

  • National Exchange Program: A national experiential learning program that utilizes context-based learning in a cross-cultural environment for students who have innovative ideas to solve social problems in their communities in an entrepreneurial way. By combining education and traveling with community development for locals, and cross-cultural collaboration, the full process will occur as follows:

  • Resources Connections: Create a network of training centers and resources to connect social entrepreneurs looking to expand their market scale and social impact with teenagers and students seeking internships in their hometowns. The core team will use online platforms, apps, and tools to manage, control, and track the process remotely.

  • Fresh Ideas and Innovation: Students bring a fresh perspective and innovative thinking to social challenges. Then we could facilitate collaboration between students, social impact organizations, and community leaders to translate innovative ideas into actionable solutions.
  • Scalable and Sustainable Solutions: By engaging students, we will foster a culture of social responsibility and civic engagement within the younger generation. This can lead to the development of sustainable solutions to social problems that are owned and carried forward by future generations.

Crowdfunding/Crowdsourcing campaign

Phase 1: Incubator

  1. Connecting the Stakeholders

High School Students: We aim to engage high school students who have social initiatives or ideas to solve the issues in their communities through social business creation across Vietnam, especially those from underprivileged regions.

Social Impact Organizations (NPOs, NGOs, CSOs): We build partnerships with local social impact organizations working on various community issues.

Social Entrepreneurs and Enterprises: We connect with social entrepreneurs and businesses interested in social impact initiatives.

  1. Online Training and Resources:

Upon receiving the social initiatives, we provide the initial reviews and feedback from our expert mentors and coaches, who specialize in ESG and business models related to social innovation. At the same time, we offer high school students online video courses and training modules covering topics such as social entrepreneurship, social impact, and essential skills like project management, communication, and critical thinking in order to help them improve their effectiveness.

Phase 2: Crowdfunding & Collaboration

Leverage CSR, CSV funds: We will send the advanced initatives to “backers”, those come from social innovation competitions, hold and sponsored by prestigious social innovation competitions such as SBC, SonTa Foundation, and ASEAN Social Impact. Additionally, we will seek support from business summits and discussions, where social entrepreneurs and enterprises focused on implementing social impact projects come together.

Project Matching: We will match students’ initatives with relevant projects run by social impact organizations and offer them nationally experential learning for them based on context-based as well as cross-cutulral environment.

Internship Opportunities: Students gain practical experiences by directly executing on these projects, and applying their academic knowledge to real-world problems.

Phase 3: Promotion and Recognition

Building a Sustainable Ecosystem in the online and offline community to review, revise, and enhance solutions.

Impact Measurement: Local communities where projects are implemented should track and measure the social impact of student initiatives. Students will submit quarterly social impact reports to TnG for review by mentors and backers.
